Annie Burdick

Copywriter, Editor, Marketing Strategist

 Hi, I’m Annie! I’ve tackled a lot of careers in the world of words, including that of book editor, copywriter, and even nonfiction author. I have a particular love of working with businesses and brands to develop content that they’re excited to showcase—whether that’s a new website, a brochure, or a tagline that hooks their perfect customer. I live by the belief that you should never be embarrassed by your own branding—and consider it my (and our) job to make sure you’re not.

I’m a graduate of the University of Minnesota and have written for brands in the home, health, consumer goods, travel, and beauty fields. I’ve also written articles for publications like People Magazine, Food & Wine, AFAR, and Business Insider—in addition to writing five non-fiction books as an “author for hire.” I’m a Midwest native now based in Portland, with a lovely fiancé, step-daughter, and two rowdy dogs filling my free time with chaos and excitement.

Hey!! I’m Sarah, a sixth generation Oregonian who is eternally in love with the PNW. I have worn many hats throughout the years (often simultaneously), including photographer, designer, caretaker, and coffee enthusiast. I love connecting and working with individuals and brands that are looking to elevate and have fun with their brand identity and photography. I believe that no matter the size of your brand, you should be in love with it and I am here to make sure of that every step of the way. My passion lies especially with the small brands that are looking to elevate but don’t know where to start.

I am a graduate of Portland State University and have worked with brands like Straightaway Cocktails, Westward Whiskey, Amenda Beauty, and Silk City Coffee. I am a wedding and families photographer and constantly looking for those meaningful connections. I currently live in the Portland area with my husband, baby boy, and black cat, Loki.
